Hi, I'm Joanna
I am a Melbourne based photographer with a background in television production and political media.
I'm a friendly Scottish lady who LOVES capturing those special moments. The smile of a baby gazing up at their mum, your pet cat giving you the "feed me" eyes or a dad staring adoringly at his precious new baby.
I don't do studios! I hate stiff and forced poses. I'm all about the natural. I also don't do prints. I'm always suspect of photographers that charge less for photos and then extortionate amounts for prints or digital files. My costs are upfront - no hidden fees.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm at home in the east of the city with my partner and our fur babies. I also dabble in Brazilian Ju Jitsu and I'm always touring Melbourne's amazing coffee spots.

I specialize in family and pet portraits BUT I am always down to try something new. If you like my work but have something different in mind, get in touch!
Do you come to us?
I do! I think photos are best in an environment you are familiar with. A travel charge may incur if you are 50km away from Melbourne, but I will discuss that upfront.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes, I offer photo shoots for small businesses. Photos can be tailored for social media or web content. I want to support local businesses to thrive. I am happy to work within a budget that suits the business.

Do you do weddings?
I don't! It's not something I offer at the moment but maybe for the right wedding?? Get in touch :)
What happens after the shoot?
Your photos will be delivered to you within 7 days digitally. Perfect format for printing or using online.
